The Rancho Santa Teresa Neighborhood Association was founded in 2025 holding its first General Meeting in June 2025. You will find a brief history of our Association below with the most recent activities and events at the top, including links to meeting minutes and other relevant documents.
General Meeting - Feb 2026
The February meeting included RSTNA Committee updates and a presentation on the VTA Safe Parking Site.
Neighborhood Watch Program - Dec 2025
On December 4, a Crime Prevention Specialist from the San José Police Department gave a 2-hour program with detailed information about forming a Neighborhood Watch Group. Participants received Neighborhood Watch signs to put in their windows.
Dumpster Day - Nov 2025
Councilmember George Casey and RSTNA sponsored a Dumpster Day for the local community on November 15.
General Meeting – Oct 2025

Neighborhood Watch Program - Oct 2025

Neighborhood Watch Introduction - Aug 2025
On August 28, a Crime Prevention Specialist from the San José Police Department gave a 30-minute orientation to the Neighborhood Watch Program. Afterwards, participants met in small groups to discuss forming a Neighborhood Watch Group in their neighborhood.
National Night Out – Aug 2025
National Night Out was held at the Clubhouse on August 5th. George Casey, San José Councilmember for District 10, provided ice cream, and several District 10 team members and police officers attended.
General Meeting – Jun 2025
At the June meeting, Bill Wolf, acting RSTNA President, introduced the acting RSTNA officers and committee chairs. George Casey, San José Councilmember for District 10, emphasized the importance of neighborhood associations and Community Emergency Preparedness Teams (CERTs). The survey results were shared, and attendees met with and signed up for committees.
General Organizing Meeting – May 2025
At the May 31st meeting George Casey, San José Councilmember for District 10, encouraged the creation of a neighborhood association. David Heindel, Vice Chairman of the District 10 Leadership Coalition, provided guidance and support for creating one. Bill Wolf collected names of people interested in participating as officers or committee chairs. No formal minutes.
Apr-May 2025
George Casey asked Bill Wolf to spearhead the development of a neighborhood association for Rancho Santa Teresa. Bill edited a survey template, and beginning in April 2025, volunteers distributed surveys to 761 homeowners. Those who responded to the survey were invited to a meeting in May.
