Communications Committee

Purpose

The Communications Committee supports the association's mission by providing information relating to neighborhood activities, opportunities, and events as well as by facilitating effective communication among residents and between the neighborhood association and external entities.

Roles and Duties

  • Information Dissemination: Develop and maintain channels for sharing news, updates, and important information with residents.
  • Newsletter Production: Create a regular newsletter (electronic and/or physical) that highlights community events, issues, and achievements.
  • Social Media Management: Manage the association's social media platforms to engage with residents and promote community activities.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from residents to improve communication strategies and address community concerns.
  • Provide links to resources within the community

We are currently working on several communication avenues, among them are flyers, establishing and keeping connections with fellow neighborhood associations, and developing a Discord server for our neighborhood. Currently, we do not have enough moderators to run that Discord server in an orderly manner.
